Fought famous case of his patient Niketa Mehta challenging the MTP Act in 2008. We all remember that she was carrying an abnormal fetus and had approached Bombay high court seeking permission to abort the fetus. His case has paved way for the amendment of the MTP Act . - Was interviewed in the famous TV show “Satyamev Jayate” by Aamir Khan for his exemplary work on Gender sensitive protocol on examination and evidence collection of survivors of sexual assault. He was invited for national consultation appointed on high level committee by WHO and the Government of India on national think tank.

He was awarded a fellowship by the International federation of health and human rights organizations in 2010 - He was the recipient of the prestigious Commonwealth fellowship from UK and worked on the “patient safety” in the UK and WHO in 2009.
